Addergoole's Titanic History on TV

On Tuesday 13 April 2010 the Addergoole Titanic Society was visited by Jim Fahy, RTE’s Western Correspondent. Jim is RTÉ's longest serving regional correspondent and an award winning radio and television documentary maker. He is based in the RTÉ regional studio in Galway. Jim and his cameraman spent some three hours in Lahardane, filming and recording. Filming and interviewing took place at Lahardane National School, on the street, in the church grounds and at the Conroy Memorial, with Nephin as the backdrop.

A two minute clip was shown on RTE’s national news throughout the evening of 14 April 2010, and a longer version on the children’s programme, the Den, at 5 o’clock. The two minute clip can be accessed below.
